Sunday League 
(aka. Vancouver Volleyball League)

​Sunday League is a “Train & Play” style program designed for beginner to intermediate athletes in Grades 3–12. It provides an opportunity to build volleyball skills and play competitive games in a team setting—without the stress of tryouts.

📋 Team Structure

• Grades 6–12 Co-ed: 
  • ​Players are assigned to a specific team at the start of the season.
  • Teammate requests are allowed.
• Grades 3–5 Co-ed and Grades 6–12 Boys Only: 
  • ​Teams are not preassigned.
  • Players rotate weekly to play with and against different athletes each session.

🏐 Session Breakdown

• Each session includes:
  • ⏱️ 45–60 minutes of skill development drills:
    • Setting, Hitting, Passing, Defense, Serving, and Blocking
  • ⏱️ 30–45 minutes of modified gameplay

📍 Program Locations

• Due to high demand, multiple venues will be used:
  • Boys Only League – typically held at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary
  • Co-ed League – typically held at Crofton House, York House, and Sir Winston Churchill

📝 Location Notes:

• You may request a preferred location when registering but we cannot guarantee final assignments. They will be sent 4-5 before the program starts.
• Assignments are based on:
  • Number of registrations, Facility availability, Teammate requests, Age, gender, and experience level

• Boys in Grades 6–12 may choose to register for either:
  • The Co-ed League
  • The Boys Only League
