ABOUT US
Learn more about Pacific Coast Volleyball Club and our commitment to developing athletes in a positive, competitive, and supportive environment.
Our Story
Pacific Coast Volleyball Club (PCVC) was founded in 2018 with a simple goal: make volleyball more accessible for young athletes in Vancouver. What began as a small community Sunday house league quickly grew as more players discovered the sport and wanted opportunities to learn, train, and compete.
Today, PCVC offers a full pathway for athletes at every stage of development. From beginner leagues and introductory clinics to competitive club teams and high-performance training, our programs are designed to help players build skills, confidence, and love for sport. Our coaches emphasize strong fundamentals, teamwork, and a positive training environment that encourages athletes to challenge themselves and grow both on and off the court.
Over the years, PCVC has become a vibrant volleyball community, offering indoor and beach programs, camps, leagues, and competitive teams that bring athletes together from across Vancouver and beyond.
PCVC was founded by Christian Redmann, who brings more than 15 years of international beach volleyball experience and over a decade of youth program development. Today, Christian works alongside a dedicated team of coaches and staff who share a commitment to growing the sport and supporting the next generation of volleyball players.

His playing career spanned 15+ years internationally: two-time Canadian national champion, top-10 world ranking, 2011 Pan Am Games, multiple World Championship appearances, 2014 Continental Champion, helped qualify Canada for the 2012 London Olympics, and 10+ years with the Canadian National Team. He now lives in Vancouver with his wife, Olympic snowboarder and Dr. of Traditional Chinese Medicine Dominique Vallee.

Natalie Eades
General Manager
Natalie discovered her love for volleyball on the Sunshine Coast in Grade 6. After several years with the Sunshine Coast Volleyball Club, she began commuting to North Vancouver in Grade 11 to play for BCO Volleyball Club. Her hard work paid off with a scholarship to play middle for the SFU Clan in 2004. After two years at SFU, Natalie transferred to UBC, where she competed with the Thunderbirds until 2009—winning two CIS National Championships along the way.
Since graduating, Natalie has shared her passion for the game through coaching at BCO, Thunder, Argyle Secondary, and Lord Byng Secondary, while continuing to play recreationally herself. She’s now excited to help guide young athletes as they work toward achieving their own volleyball goals.

Richard Schick
Technical Director
Richard brings a wealth of experience, having coached at every level—from 13U club to university, as well as with both Canada’s Men’s and Women’s National Teams. As a player, he captured National Championships at the college, university, and professional levels, and as a coach, he’s guided teams to titles at the college, university, and junior beach levels. Over the years, many of the athletes he’s worked with have gone on to represent Canada on both the indoor and beach national teams.
In 2025, Richard served as head coach of the PCVC 15U Girls team, leading them to the club’s first-ever Nationals silver medal.
